Well, "Sky Base" sounds like a very common map, but it isn't.
It's an early wad, but the author put some work into the architecture. And the feel of a sky base seems very authentic here, at least as far as I can imagine a sky base. It's very claustrophobic, full of narrow hallways and small technical rooms. The layout is quite confusing and there are many hidden doors and switches you have to find to make your way to the end.
What makes this map quite interesting is a large amount of unusual effects and tricks, I've never seen before in a wad.
Maybe it's a bit too easy, because the monsters aren't too hard and there's plenty of health and ammo. But after all, I highly recommend this unique map.
