'Blowup' is one of the best looking wads i've ever seen. It's a map in the well-known DooMish hi-tech style, but it's full of great detail and inventive ideas.
Yes, I found the look of this (very large btw.) map overwhelming and took several screenshots while playing, and I was wondering if I should give this 5 stars. But on the other hand, it's not the visual aspect alone that makes a good map. To get 5 stars, it should also either have a very intense gameplay or maybe a certain degree of innovation or originality.
As to gameplay, the map is a challenge but not overly hard. With some caution, you can cope well with all battles.
In the end I give this a very strong 4.5 stars and I'm definitely watching out for more maps of didy.
