This is a beautiful map. It's medium-sized and has many interesting ZDoom effects, especially some very cool polyobjects and ambient sounds. This is remarkable, because it's such an early ZDoom wad. Most wads from that time rather seem to have been a playground for all the new possibilities, often used rather aimlessly. But here, everything is brought to the point. No cheap trickery or claptraps.
Gameplay is good, sometimes challenging but achievable. The center of the map is a building with machinery and metal textures, which is surrounded by some beautiful outdoor areas.
This is excellent for a map from 1999. I'm keen on the other parts of this series.
