If you're the kind of person that likes to spin round after round after round on the merry-go-round at the playground, naked, with just a single sock on, then this WAD is just the one for for you.

Taking you on a tour through what is probably the most varied FFA mapset this year, you'll get close to epileptic fits and even end up a bit schizophrenic. Don't get me wrong, it's a very refreshing play. It will certainly not satisfy the need of oldschoolers or maybe not even of some newschoolers but this WAD is all about concept. Some examples.
In the very first map all spawn-points are stuck inside an open box, a shotgun just below your feet. All you can do is find an opponent and fire until you get another frag. Another map is simply a giant skating rink (you can bounce off the walls here and control the direction you fly off in), complete with cheering Doom monsters. You'll also end up in a corridor-type map with lots of decoys; Doomguy replicas that don't fire but can be killed and do respawn.
Other unique concepts include a totally white map (my poor virgin eyes), an interesting chessboard and a map with mirrors put in places where they will make you go trigger-happy the most. Novelty is the word.

The looks are ok, some maps are horribly underdetailed but as you know it's not about that, and I'm not going to be cramped about it because it matters very little. Technically everything else is fine too, no complaints, it's all original beans.
Ok, I'm sure you get the point about concept now, you can have the dead horse. What I'm trying to say is that you should at least give this WAD a spin. It should keep even those with short attention spans busy for an hour at least, I know I was. A royal blast.

Well, this WAD is, in a word, nutty. There's 32 levels in all, every one of them a deathmatch map, and every one of them different. There's an ice rink. There's a level set in a room that's completely white. There's a swimming pool. And there's even a level based on the TV show "Blockbusters". So much variety. Being lonely, there was nobody I could play these maps with, but I imagine they could be very good fun. A twist to the normal deathmatch experience perhaps. However, some of the maps have a mock-feel to them, and that texture of the girl's eye from the movie "The Grudge" is just freaky. If you can get past the mock feel of this WAD and you're bored of ordinary deathmatch, then this is the WAD for you.

An enyojable wad, original, funny, not meant for competitive or serious gameplay, but for something we sometimes forget..!!! fun!!!

Its not a highly detailed wad, and thats the perfect proof of how detail comes second and gameplay first, but the custom textures give the wad that "nutty" personality and bring some moments of fun, even if youre in the middle of a dm.

As regards the sound, I reallly like some midis and how they give the map a certain feeling.
Or how they make reference to the map layout or name, a perfect example the map named vortex which midi is aerosmith - living on the edge. heh.

Hearing homers simpson voice saying doh!!! Instead of the bumping standard sound its something one either loves or hates, I loved it.
The du bist dead voice makes me wanna lala (hell no), it actually makes me wanna kill myself with rockets just to listen to it again heh.

If this wad is well accepted and hosted on a popular server (which I bet will be) It will bring hours of fun to all kind of players. I dont ply ffa anymore, but I wouldnt mind joining a server with 15 players and this wad.

Congrats Milian and Shark!!! originality is definitively something that I admire and something certainly well achieved in this wad

поверьте это трудно описать! Это надо ВИДЕТЬ!!! В это надо поиграть!!! Карты не особо отличаются детализацией в плане дизайна и архитектуры, но выделяются все без отклонения своей оригинальностью! Признаться, я такого не видел. Ну, может это от того, что я видел в своей жизни не так много, а может и вправду этот набор шедевр!
Абсолютно смелый, оригинальный подход к игре и картостроению, авангард в своем роде! Некоторые карты даже напоминают квадрат Малевича ;), хотя довольно косвенно.
Единственное, что немного напрягает это некоторые звуки, хотя они отчасти создают ту безумную мультяшную атмосферу в лучших традициях Тэкса Айвери, которой пронизана игра.

The most fun FFA mapset I've ever played. The pack boasts 32 maps with gameplay elements you won't (shouldn't!) see anywhere else. A bunch of ZDoom effects used out of context enhance the map's wackiness. If you don't have a sense of humor, and don't have a burning passion for Doom, don't play this pack, because you may not appreciate it much otherwise. Euro humor at its best. ;)

Just like to say I think the nutty wad is great
I think it's particularly good for 'noobs' (for want of a better word ) such as myself, as most of the maps are nice and small, so easy to find the other players

It certainly has the most insane maps i've ever played on!!!
