My very first review was for eectestmap.wad by the same author, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with this one.
From his deathmatch maps, I know that AK is a highly skilled mapper, especially with regards to detailing. And his wads are becoming better and better with every new release.
This map is called "demo" and after playing it, I'm looking forward to the final version, cause this is all very promising.
The map makes great use of ZDoom features - like camera cut scenes - and dramatic lighting effects. Plus, the ambience is nicely detailed.
The gameplay is good, too, though not too challenging. At least on skill 3 I could take it a bit harder. But it's definitely fun.
One advice to the author: try to make use of coloured lights, which would make the atmosphere quite perfect. "Point of no return" or "RTC-3057" could be sources of inspiration for this. You've definitely the skills to make high quality wads like those and this map is coming very near to them.
