This wad is from 2004, but it feels like 1994. It's very pure, straightforward and overall quite easy, except for the map by Kristian Aro (E2M9).
Authentic Doom style also with regards to gameplay and monsters, where the Baron is the hardest of the first episode. The rest is mostly Zombies, Demons and Imps.
It has a nice feeling but I missed some more challenging situations.
