This early map is hard to judge, as it seems to be a show off map rather than a playable game.
The author built the Piazza dei Miracoli (the Pisa tower) in Doom2, which must have been a challenging project back in 1994.
As to gameplay, there's almost none. 24 monsters (on skills 4 and 5 only, the rest is without) are standing on the ledges of the buildings and firing at you.
Take this for a short sight-seeing map, if you can't afford a trip to Italy at the moment.
