This map is small and has only 60 monsters, but it's a big challenge nontheless. Monsters are crossing your way without a break, and they're mostly of the harder kind.
Ammo and health are balanced very well, in a way that every battle is feasible but not always in a comfortable way (maybe one of the two secrets that I've missed provides a BFG, which would make things much easier; but I don't know).
The ambience is built carefully, with good details, but nothing new or surprising. The emphasis is put on gameplay here, and that's done very well.
