Now, here we have a set of 12 maps that is gorgeous!
It's a Total Conversion, and a hell of a work went into the sprites and the textures.
The monsters are all converted to zombies; not the Doom-type of zombies, but real zombies
(however real they can be...), undead men, women and cops.
The weapons have all been changed, too, and they are fun to use. Same with the pickup items,
which are now rugby suites or sweets or fast-food. This TC is a blast of originality!
Some things made me really laugh, like the crowd of Zombies on the dancefloor or maps 11
and 12, which are only gag maps. These two maps are for sight-seeing only, but so cleverly done.
The locations are nice, too, like a tv studio complete with screens, cameras, microphones
and everything. Or a shopping mall with dozens of different shops.
There's hardly any Total Conversion that filled me with enthusiasm, cause either they
have bad graphics or bad gameplay. Exceptions are rare, but this is one of them (though gameplay maybe repeats after a while).
There's only one weak point in this masterpiece. Though the author put a lot of work into all the sprites and
textures, the rooms themselves were left quite bare. Half of all rooms only contain some
boxes or a table and no decoration at all.
And one final remark to the sounds: the music is all fine and cool. The sounds are all changed, too,
and I liked them a lot. But probably, many players will be annoyed by some of them, like the
"No Way!" when pressing a wall.
