This is review no. 58 and I've finally found another wad to which I can give the maximum of 5 impsballs!
It's a ZDoom wad and makes great use of ZDoom features. Lots of coloured lighting, foggy rooms, stealth monsters. And, in opposite to so many ZDoom wads, this isn't a show off of tricks, but a really atmospheric map. Maybe the most creepy one I've played.
The ambience is dark with dramatic lighting and excellent detailing, and you have to be careful and watch out for monsters in every corner. Ammo is scarce and you should be careful not to waste it.
All sounds have been replaced, and at first, I didn't like it, but got used to it very soon. Together with the incredibly creepy music it adds to a perfect atmosphere.
