This is a very special map. Like in chess, you have to pore over each move. But in this chess match, you yourself are the moving piece on the chess board.
It's important to read the signs. There are torches all over the board. If you unluckily step onto a square with a red torch, you're dead, checkmate.
The fields with green torches bring you to the center of the map, where the heavy weapons are waiting.
To go out of the center, back to the border of the map, you may use the squares with blue torches.

Like MAP14, "The Vortex," you've got to get used to stepping gingerly around the torches, and that will likely take several suicides. But once you get to know it, it's pretty good.
